The sinister art of coercion

Strong-arming at the federal government level

You know it's amazing what the feds get away with when they want their way bad enough. Threatening to with hold certain funding to states if they don't comply with newly passed laws that are clearly a violation of the U.S. Constitution. Technically, it's blackmail/extortion. Is it right? No, we all know it isn't right, but, right now people's livelihoods are hanging in the balance while our federal government fucks around with their pet projects and personal party-related grudges.

Too bad we're still paying this bunch of oxygen thieves to represent us.

Right now, the supporters of this so-called health care reform are dealing with a barrage of threats from angry voters. PFFFT! Like this is a big surprise. Nancy Pelosi is, gathering from my observations, leading our president around by his johnson. That's a pretty bad place to be if your house speaker has a death grip on your genitals to get their way, I don't care who it is. When Obama took office, I do remember hearing about Nancy warning our new president-elect to "Stay out of her way".

Nancy Pelosi is no better than the witch from 'Hansel & Gretel', living in a gingerbread house, luring small children there for the purpose of catching and eating them. She's a man-eating hag who steps on the johnsons of the incumbents if she doesn't get her way. Not a nice way to conduct business on The Hill. Glad I don't live, or work, there. I'd be going toe-to-toe with this whack-job on a daily basis. I often wonder how the congress sleeps at night. Probably with a gut full of Chivas and two or three Ambien for all I know.

The majority of Americans do not trust the government, and I can understand why; power is a corruptor in more ways than one. When authority goes unchallenged, it becomes a tyranny. America is well on her way to becoming a mirror image of China and Russia; a socialist nation who's government has 99% of the wealth in their pockets while forcing a life of servitude upon the masses and we all know that nobody in this nation wants that, but, we are allowing it to happen. Why? Because nobody wants to be bothered with fixing shit until their cable, their internet, their IPod, WII, PS3, and anything else they have that keeps them distracted is deactivated because it has become too expensive and they, or their parents, can't afford to pay for the maintenance or the service fees which will no doubt skyrocket as more and more people lose their source of income and become another lost paying customer to these companies.

Scared yet?

People really need to educate themselves on our laws, amendments, and the system of checks and balances that was put in place over 230 years ago to prevent what is going on now. It ain't that hard.

BTW, I'm staying well out of Searchlight, Nevada this weekend, for good reason. The Teabaggers are going to be there. Glad I don't live there.
